These workshirts are cut from a unique Japanese cotton jacquard fabric, custom woven to create a patchwork effect with a myriad of different textile patterns. This fabric is inspired by traditional Japanese boro workwear, which takes Japan's art of sashiko mending even further, creating entirely new garments out of dozens and dozens of different textiles to make something completely one-of-a-kind. This jacquard replicates that idea and look as best as a woven fabric can, and since it is entirely woven from indigo rope-dyed cotton, the huge variety of textures will be highlighted as the fabric ages with wear, giving it a unique three-dimensional look with plenty of faded nuance.
